Enjoy creating an awesome costume for Halloween, or just simply dressing up as your favorite anime, book, tv, or other character? We love Halloween in Ramsey Library -especially the dressing up and eating candy parts- and celebrate it every year with our annual In Character Costume Contest. This year, the contest will take place both in-person and online, so you can enter a pic of your amazing creation or just yourself having an amazing time dressed up either way that is most convenient.
In-person we will have a picture taking/candy sharing event on Wednesday, October 27th from 12-2pm (in the Blowers Gallery space in the middle of the main floor). For online submissions, please take your own pictures and submit them using this form (open to UNCA students, staff, and faculty). Costumes will be judged on creativity, originality/authenticity, and effort. Submissions are due October 31st, 2021 and all winners will be announced a few days later.
