| Guests at the opening of our Enchanted Wanderers exhibit were treated to a visit from Oleg Briansky, dancer, teacher, choreographer and founder of the Briansky Ballet Center in New York.
The exhibit features treasures from the archives of Briansky and Dame Sonia Arova, prima ballerina and former artistic director of the National Ballet of Norway. Included are photos documenting their work with dancers and choreographers Rudolf Nureyev, Mikhail Baryshnikov, and George Balanchine. It’s on display through February 18 and Part II of the exhibit, featuring costumes and sketches by visiting Professor and costume designer, Igor Roussanoff, will be open in Blowers Gallery February 20-26. |
