Thanks to everyone who contributed to the 2022 Give UNC Asheville Campaign and especially those who contributed directly towards Ramsey Library, supporting our collections and operations! Thanks to the generosity of more than 1,400 donors to UNCA during this campaign, a $25,000 anonymous donor’s gift was unlocked to support our university’s area of greatest need. Every little bit you gave is deeply appreciated and will help us. Here are some ways your gifts may contribute to our library:
- A $5 gift can cover the cost of a student’s online access to the academic article that contributes to a great research paper
- A $10 gift can cover the cost of filament for a student to design and 3D-print their own prototype
- A $25 gift can become a new book for students to find on our shelves
- A $50 gift can cover the cost of printing a photo from our archives for a regional history exhibit
- A $100 gift can provide an unlimited-use ebook that offsets students’ textbook costs
- A $500 gift can provide high-quality technologies like cameras and microphones for students to check out for audiovisual projects
- A $1,000 gift can help purchase furnishings to make the library a comfortable and welcoming space for our campus and community
