Come into the library’s Blowers Gallery now to see ‘Stone in Love: Seduction of the Orphan Past’ by UNC Asheville’s own Professor of Anthropology Dr. Oğuz Erdur. The exhibition is inspired by Erdur’s ethnographic research on archaeological knowledge production in Turkey, highlighting his scholarship and creative practices around anthropology, archaeology, philosophy, and art. An opening reception will be held for the exhibit and the launch of his new book by the same name on Thursday March 17 from 5:00-7:00 pm.
