Hi everyone! I am Laurel Buffaloe, the new Media Design Lab Manager at Ramsey Library. I wanted to share that the Media Design Lab is available for students, faculty and staff and I am here to provide many resources to you and your students.
The Media Design Lab is an interactive learning space where students, faculty and staff from all academic departments can create podcasts, videos, infographics, websites, printed designs, and more. Lab assistants are available to help you through the process so no experience is needed!
As the lab manager, I can lead orientation sessions to give an introduction to what the MDL offers, brief tours on what the MDL can provide, and workshops and instructional sessions toward a specific project goal.
We offer a space with 10 Macs and 1 PC with Wacom tablets at each computer station, and softwares such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office suite, Canva, audio/video editing, and more. We also provide a self-service Audio Recording Studio and a self-service Video Recording Studio.
