As recommended in UNC Asheville Communication & Marketing’s The Weekly Wag, this week Asheville’s Citizen-Times has published a lovely article on UNCA Ramsey Library’s namesake, D. Hiden Ramsey. If you are up for a quick time trip of what it felt visiting Asheville a hundred years ago, and getting to know one of our local visionaries, it is a great read. Hiden Ramsey, including a commencement speech he delivered to new teachers in 1951.
